In 1962, a salesman named Ted Whitworth needed solutions.
Customer requests requiring simple modifications to equipment were going unanswered. He decided to meet his customer’s needs himself, in a few short years he was able to start his own manufacturing facility based on customizing products to suit his customers.
Since 1968, Texas Medical Industries, Inc., has manufactured quality orthopedic products. TMI has focused its efforts in manufacturing and distributing innovative orthopedic soft goods and traction systems. Today, TMI serves health care markets in the United States, Canada, Japan, Portugal, Belgium, Malaysia and the Middle East. Our on-site capabilities include plastic injection molding/extruding; die casting, machining, sewing and packaging allowing us to customize our products.
